Science
Working scientifically and having an understanding of science is a key part to understanding how everything in the universe works. Bill Bryson sums this thought up beautifully in his; A Short History of Nearly Everything Book:
It is a slightly arresting notion that if you were to pick yourself apart with tweezers, one atom at a time, you would produce a mound of fine atomic dust, none of which had ever been alive but all of which had once been you.
It is therefore our intent to ensure that our young people have a good understanding of all the facets of science. They can work scientifically to investigate and test hypotheses and they become curious learners for the rest of their life.
